Tutorial Overview

In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a stkd-SCRT viewing key so that you can view your encrypted balance and interact with certain Shade Apps.

Terminology

  • stkd-SCRT: a privacy-preserving liquid staking derivative for the Secret Network $SCRT token. Fee stream accrues to the ShadeDAO.

  • Viewing key: a tool that allow users to view their own encrypted token balance on Secret Network

Prerequisites

  • ~2 minutes

  • ~0.25 - 1 SCRT

  • Keplr Wallet

Steps

  • Navigate to Keplr Wallet

  • Add Token

  • Create stkd-SCRT Viewing Key

Add Token

Create stkd-SCRT Viewing Key

Paste the following address into the Contract Address field:

secret1k6u0cy4feepm6pehnz804zmwakuwdapm69tuc4

Congratulations, you have now successfully viewed your encrypted stkd-SCRT balance!
